From the Tower of Lions you can reach the Tribute Tower connected through a unique wall, that in the north. This wall was very important but it is dificult to know with certainty because it was totally rebuilt in the past.
The body of the building is taller than wider, the tower is dominating, the strongest with polygonal plan. The use of gothic architecture was not exquisite, as the lobby or lounge, free finesse. This tower was made by no experienced masters. On the other hand, the Tower of the Lions was made by french masters. The spanish masters that performed the tower, made a hexagonal vault with four nerves. The capitals were handmade but not all of them.
The main room is an octagonal room with low and tough columns, the vault is high, and he nerves are put on capitals decorated with vegetable motives carved. This was the first room where the Christian Kings (Elizabeth of Aragon and Ferdinand of Castile) received Christopher Columbus. You can reach the upper terrace by a straight staircase, illuminated by rosetones. Its steps are supported by shelves adorned with fine moldings.
From the Tower of the Tribute you can enter the Room of the Mosaics. For this reason you have to go down the wall, go down a staircase and cross the entrance gallery, this is a gallery with rectangular plan, divided into four archs, where its bricks and the whiteness of the walls are perfect all together.
