Visigothic Period

        The military force of the visigothic in Iberian Peninsule was huge, they occupiedVisigothic decoration but they did not colonized. They occupied the buildings made in other periods without bringing nothing new to Córdoba until his last years in the city, this compared to cities like Mérida and Toledo, where the architectural examples are noteworthy, for example the ruins of the church Saint Peter of La Mata.
        The visigothic arrived in 572 run by Saint Hermenegilde (564 - 585). This was King Leovigild (568 - 586) son. He professed the arianism till his wife and Saint Leander (534 - 601), Bishop of Seville, converted him into the Catholicism. His father, who prosecuted the Christians, declared a war to him,Decoration stack his son, in 582. King Leovigild was captured and killed by his father.
        Inside the Christian Kings Alcazar, specifically on access outside, on the transversal axis of the north facade, there is a visigothic badge, made in white marble. On it there is a Greek Cross decorated with wheat motives.
        On the other hand the Royal Baths are conserved, made to the muslim way. Near there is a rectangular stone with vegetable and lineal motives. The central hole is done by the reusing of a caliph stone and used as toilet of the ancient prison.
