The nowadays Image is that related to that of the Brotherhood of The Triumphal Entrance of Our Father Jesus of the Kings, which was made by cordovan sculpter Juan
Martínez Cerrillo towards 1963. But this Image is not the first which was made by the named artist for the Brotherhood, but it was some years before, in 1945, Martínez Cerrillo made another Nazarene, but the little dimensions of the sculpture provoked that it was rejected and they had to make another one.
The Image of Our Lord is made with a perfect anatomy. The head presents curly hair and a close beard, framing the face. A face with sadness, and a lost sight, the mouth amazed, which shows he is worried and he seems to know what the future holds. He raises slightly his right hand and with the left he keeps the reins of the animal.
In 1992 the Brotherhood gave a work to Miguel Ángel González Jurado, the work consists in restoring the sculpture in order to adapt it to the
annual cults. The modifications were to change the feet and hands, being an articulated model, so it can be put on the donkey and at the same time to put it on the throne.
The Image of Our Lady of Palm was made by cordovan sculpter Francisco Romero Zafra, being ended in 1991. The fact is this image was thought at the beginning in order to substitute the Virgin of the Dew and Tears. It was Fray Ricardo de Córdoba who was captivated by its beauty, who spoke to the Major Brother of the Brotherhood in order to purchase it, and in the future, she could make processions on the Palm Sunday.
Our Lady of Palm is an image to dress, with a young face, sad, from which some tears go out. With its quiet beauty, frowned and the sight low. Its hands show the long fingers and stylised.
