Musical Group of Our Father Jesus of the Redemption

Historical Review.
This veteran group was founded in the summer of 1989 by a group of brothers from the popular Brotherhood of the Star, located in the typical district of Córdoba Huerta de la Reina (Queen's garden). The debut would not be expected since a few months later, in January 1990, participated in the Procession of the Three Wise Men in Cabra (Córdoba). The official presentation was held on February 4th in their own brotherhood.
In 1990 the "Band of the Star", as it is commonly known in Córdoba, and took part in five seasons of penance for our capital. Since then, the musical direction has been entrusted to Manuel Luque Bellido, founder and promoter of the band. A band that, at present, continues to maintain its presence in almost every day of our Holy Week, reaffirming itself as a consolidated group and benchmark in its modality.
Since its inception it has participated in numerous events such as concerts, competitions, poster presentation... emphasizing, among others, the "Regional Band Competition of the Association of Guilds of Córdoba", participating on several occasions, the "Bands Contest of Santa Cecilia de Sevilla" in 1992, the concert of the "Under Canopy" on Canal Sur Radio at the Cervantes Theatre of Málaga in 2000...
Note that the total revenue of the band are wholly devoted to the brotherhood, which conducted its first procession in 1996, thanks in large part to their collaboration. Months later, in the summer of 1996 establishing the Children's Band Bugles and Drums, with the goal of being quarry future musicians of the musical group, currently staying.
The Association has released two albums, the first one entitled "Star!" Was recorded in 1997, and includes compositions by authors such as Jose Manuel Mena Hervás, Francisco Javier González Ríos or Pascual Gonzalez. The second was held in 2002 under the title "Our Redeemer".
