In this bedroom we have a weak light and as well as an exuberant fantasy
of Louis XV and Regency styles, there are two big rugs from Brussel of the XVII Century that represent the Biblical Scenes and are hanged on two walls, both compositions represent similitude such as being framed by big angels that bring garlands, what it means is that they belong tom same serie. The first, "The conversion of Saint Paul", represents the Saint after falling down the horse which was riding; the second, "The release from prison of Herod", show us the Angel enter the Prison of Jerusalem to rescue the Saint among the
guards.
On another wall we can appreciate a complete portrait of the General Franco, that in another time presided the city life, it is conserved into the deposit of the Town Hall. This work was performed by Rafael Serrano and it is in this room because in the past Franco was guest of the Viana palace and he slept here, in April 1953 and in May 1961.
On the wall that remains for us to comment, there is another portrait performed by Miguel Jacinto Meléndez, that represents the Queen Elisabeth Farnese, Philip V's wife. The Queen has a child in her arms which could be the Monarch Charles III. There is a second portrait, this is an anonymous on copper, which represents the "Saint James at the Battle of Clavijo".
