The garden in Viana Palace, Cordoba (Spain)

The Garden

        The garden has a squared plan and a baroque design, the garden  has an Garden Planopen space with great dimensions in the palace, with 1200 squared meters. The design is like a transept of a nave, because it has two long axes with cross shape, the place where the foutain is in it. The schema is repeated in every one of the four squares, reflecting sixteen planting squares totally, surrounded by bojFountain Detail of the Garden hedges all of them.
        Inside every square we find some species like: roses, palms, or centenaries holm oaks, whose height overcomes the buildings of the palace. Two of the walls are decorated with orange trees and lemon trees, they are the enclosure walls. The others communicate with the palace, and they are The Gardendecorated with roses that fit perfectly with the architecture of the same one. This one is represented outside by two plants in one zon, and through two plants in another one, presenting the balconies and the windows to the patio (court).
        As the other courtyards that we have described, there are architectonic elements such as: columns, bases, vases, amphorae or pitchers that linked to the freshness and scent of the vegetation, make this space a perfect place to walk and enjoy the peace and the quietness of this exceptional space.
