Tobias Lounge

        From the Lounge of the Signatures, to that we have to come back, we canTobias' Lounge enter the downstairs lounge, the named Tobias' Lounge. The walls are painted with fresco, representing the story of "Tobias’ book". Its name comes from this. The serie is composed by a total of twelve paintings, that represents the life and the miracles of this character, such as "The Appearance of Saint Raphael". Nowadays it is believed that these frescos are made by painter León Abadía, an unknown author, but not without artistic quality.
        In one of the sides there is the beautiful and romanticTobias' Lounge Courtyard of Madam. It was the main dining room of the house, and the place where the marquisis received the people, like in the year 63, when they invited the Authorities of the city to drink tea, celebrating the end of the works in the palace.
        In the middle of the lounge of the palace there is a great table, a Spanish one, made in oak, without cuts. In the middle there is a valuable tibor made with fine porcelain andTobias' Lounge Imari decoration, with bronze decorations. With a marble podium, there are two lions, in bronze that flank this excellent piece. On it there is a leafy bronze lamp with golden and silver candles.
        The main seats of the lounge are portuguese, made in the XVIII Century in leather, darkened because of the time, however they are carved with high quality. Axes folders and candles keepers are spread all around the lounge and on the table.
        The lounge is covered by a great vault, with a tough decoration of garlands leather and mouldings, and cornucopias.
