Once we arrive to the first floor we have the possibility to go o forward towards left or right. On the right we enter into the oriental sector of the palace, where there are different rooms and lounges or the library. On the contrary, on the left we have
the occidental sector, the most intime zone where the inhabitants of the house lived, where there were the rooms of the marquisis, those of the guests and the Dining Room.
In this case we will go to on towards left, we will enter the Occidental Sector of the palace. A sector which is distributed, in a first instance, by the Main Gallery, a gallery marked by a renaissance characteristic, where we can enjoy, the great windows and roman arches, the ones of the Main Courtyard or the Recibo with a different perspective, because it is situated in the lower part of the palace.
Strolling you can appreciate beautiful turkish and caucasic rugs and other masterpieces which are in the hall such as the ones that are: "Saint Thomas of Villanueva giving out the clothes to the poor"; the tender and poor "Saint Joseph with the Child" or "Saint Philomena", besides there is "Saint Barbara" painted by Bernabé de Ayala.
But we can not forget the wonderful masterpiece called bargueño of the XVII Century which can be spot out once we enter the room. With its mudejar style with a fine and cared labour, made in ivory. The last is a chest made in the XVI Century.
